Warning: Burts Bees will not allow exchange!

"Think twice before purchasing this as a gift…if the recipient needs to exchange it for a good reason (like I did) Burt’s Bees will not allow that, your money will go to waste, and the recipient will be sad :( People know I like Burts’ Bees baby products, so I received a gift set at my baby shower and later had a second one sent in the mail by a relative. Of course, I appreciated the thought but didn’t need or want duplicates of the same items, so I reached out to Burt’s Bees about returning it for store credit to get some different things. At first I was only able to get ahold of a “virtual assistant” bot, which informed me that these gift sets are not returnable, even for store credit. I then asked if I could exchange it for a different gift set (even one of lesser value, but with things I could actually use) and got the same response. After realizing I was talking to a bot a requesting to speak with a real person, I got the same answer that they wouldn’t consider an exchange. Sadly this means I’ll be donating the gift set, since we have a tiny amount of storage and can’t justify keeping these unnecessary duplicates. Makes me feel bad that my relative was trying to be thoughtful but instead wasted $100. There are other essentials we still really need and would have gotten from Burt’s Bees Baby with that money."

Did not receive what was ordered.

"I did not receive the product that I ordered. I reached out twice with no response. This was a Christmas gift for a baby boy and received girl items and some gender neutral items. I had to give the gender neutral pieces I received as a gift and am hoping someone I know has a little girl that can use the other stuff. I love Burt’s bees items and I have ordered multiple times from and never had this problem. I’m not sure I’ll order again especially for a gift."
